The students in Mrs. Milender's Anatomy and Physiology class have been studying the structure and function of the heart.  In these pictures they are getting to the "heart" of the matter by dissecting sheep hearts.  Shown in the photos are Emma Boillotat, Kim Chambers, Lizzie Leighton, Ally Ashton, and Ike Nwokoye.  However, I won't call the police to make any cardiac "arrests" for breaking these hearts!
   The students have also been watching videos of human dissections done by the German scientist behind the "Bodies in Motion" exhibit that was at the Boston Museum of Science.  The dissections are done on plasticized bodies.
